The visits include a presentation of works by students at the Massana School; visits to the Tarrasa Museum, Casa Aymat and the Grau-Garriga Contemporary Textile Art Centre in Sant Cugat and other places of interest.

Teixit Obert / Open Knitting. A large open-air workshop. Everyone is invited to simultaneously crochet a large banner with the word PAU (peace) as a symbol of resistance, community and shared future. Open to all people of any age who know how to crochet. Materials provided, just bring a no. 4 crochet hook. No fee and no inscription. Plaça Pius XII (venue 03).

Juguem de Nou is a free play initiative using materials recovered from companies, an innovative, sustainable and inclusive initiative that transforms public spaces into creative play environments with strong educational and environmental value. Learn how to draw and paint a mandala by combining colours and shapes to create your own unique design on a circle of natural silk using the gutta technique to define the contours. Silk scarf workshop using the shibori technique.. Taught by Desedamas (desedamas.com). Shibori is a Japanese art that uses pressure on the fabric to create striking and unique patterns. Through knots, ties, folds, bends, rolls and seams, natural and vibrant designs are created. No experience necessary. Minimum age 12 years. Museu de la Pell Cal Boyer (venue 04).

Workshop: From sheep to skein. Taught by Lala de Dios (@laladedios5). Wool, its properties and the process of turning it into yarn. Wool and sustainability. Demonstration of carding and spinning with a spindle. Participants will make their own sample book with wool in the different stages of the process: fleece, carded and combed wool, pre-felt, felt, yarns of different thicknesses and textures.
