Rev_*Bel_*Art: The parade of textile crafts that will turn the Teatro del Ateneo into a space of Revelation and Rebellion

Next September 20 at 6:00 p.m., the Teatro del Ateneu Igualadí will host Rev_Bel_Art, a parade of artistic textile crafts presented as a live, contemporary poetic scenic display.

Organized by the Textile Artisan Guild of Catalonia, this activity is part of TextilFest, a contemporary textile creation festival organized by the Asociación para la Creación Textil.

Rev_Bel_Art offers a new vision of textiles, fusing technique and avant-garde from the artistic language, an exhibition of unique artisanal pieces and objects that manifest themselves as sculptures in motion.

With a title that plays with the words “reveal” and “rebel”, this exhibition invites the creators of both associations to explore new forms of to narrate the world through textiles, revealing hidden histories, questioning limits and projecting tradition and the craft.
